Intro to Improv

Music students sometimes feel that their education can be restrictive or by-the-book. This class will be an opportunity for students to learn the basics of how to create their own melodies and rhythms on the fly, and how to use music to express their internal feelings externally.
Minimum Enrollment Required: 4 Students
Your Instructor
Jacob started teaching at MusicEveryday! in 2022. He is a human, musician, and cellist from the West Michigan area. Ever since jamming along to Carole King records from his earliest memories, music has been a guiding principle in his life. Laid-back, adaptable, and capable of demonstrating beautiful performance, he can show students the flexibility, science, and fun of playing an instrument.
