Val Letenyei

Val opened MusicEveryday! in 2015 after moving here from Iowa where she taught for 7 years and before that, St. Louis where she taught for 6 years. This is her 23rd year of teaching and our 10th year of providing Music Lessons in Spring Lake!

I am a Certified Pedagogy Specialist with the Royal Conservatory of Music.  I have studied piano since the age of 8 with several private teachers during my high school and college years.  I studied Secondary Education at William Tyndale College for 3 years before getting married and moving to Missouri where I continued my musical studies with Master Pedagogist Nancy Schaaf at Dayspring School of the Arts in St. Louis, Missouri.

I consider my students to be my greatest teachers because they are creative individuals who constantly amaze and challenge me to be innovative in my approach and teaching methods.
