Nick G has been playing and studying bass for 23 years and playing on stage
professionally for 20 of them. For the past 15 years he has been playing professional bassist
in Colorado before recently relocating to Michigan. In Colorado he has played with and toured
with platinum artist and former Lumineer, Neyla Pekarak. He is also part of an all CEO Rock
band that has raised millions of dollars for the Arts and Various charities such as the United
Way. His passion for music of all types has lead him to play with several artists of many genres
including Jazz, Hip Hop, Rock, Country, Americana, R and B, and Gospel. As a bassist and
with a fundamental understanding of Rhythm, Harmony and Melody he has been a band leader
and Musical Director for many of his projects. Nick has been recording in studios since he was
17 years old and been a producer and actively records and engineers his own projects as well
as other artists. He has been teaching Bass lessons for 18 years in various Music Shops and
Independently specializing in Music Theory and Jazz Bass. Playing the Bass and having an
open mind with music has lead him to play in all capacities and genres within the Music
Industry. He hopes to share that with students in showing them not only the fundamentals of
the instrument but also how to navigate the industry to find success.
