Val opened MusicEveryday! in 2015 after moving here from Iowa where she taught for 7 years and before that, St. Louis where she taught for 6 years. This is her 23rd year of teaching and our 10th year of providing Music Lessons in Spring Lake!

She is a Certified Pedagogy Specialist with the Royal Conservatory of Music and has studied piano since the age of 8 with several private teachers during her high school and college years. She studied Secondary Education at William Tyndale College for 3 years before getting married and moving to Missouri where she continued her  musical studies with Master Pedagogist, Nancy Schaaf, at Dayspring School of the Arts.
